Janet Walmsley was raised in Brandon, Manitoba. At an early age Janet was enticed into the Theatre world and was in many a play in Elementary, Junior and High School. As well she  loved being a Cheerleader and being on top of the Pryamid and playing Sports. With being out of the country for a little awhile and having children, she then came back to Canada and was able to immerse herself back into Theatre 22  years ago, where she acted and directed. In 2010, Janet got an Agent and immersed into Commercials, Film, TV, Webseries and VO.  One highlight was working on the TV Series, "Fargo", where she had a principle role of Deb in one of the episodes of the third season and met Ewan MacGregor.  Janet  was nominated Best Supporting Actress for the series Single and Dating in Vancouver, at the 6th Annual Indie Series Awards in Los Angles.

Janet is also a Best Selling Published Author with her Non Fiction Book, "The Autistic Author and Animator" which is about her daughter, Jenny's, journey with Autism through a Mother's eyes. It has won the Next Generation Finalist Indie Book Awards in New York where her book was at the New York Book Expo.  She just recently won in 2019 of July, the International Book Excellence Finalist Award!

In June of 2016, Jenny won the Unlimited Woman Award of Creativity at the Woman Creativity Awards in Victoria, British Columbia. 

Janet is a woman with a very bubbly, outgoing, fun personality and as well a very caring, giving, kind person. She is also young at heart and is game for anything, a very versatile gal. She is the Mum that every one else's children want to go to and pour out their problems to.  Then again Janet is a Scorpion, so definitely a devoted friend, intensely ambitious with a strong will and excellent self control and she has her parent's trait of being known as a very hard worker.
